SaxFest is more than a music festival. It is a community celebration created to bring people together, showcase local talent and give people of all ages the chance to enjoy live music, entertainment and the arts in Saxmundham.

Run by Saxmundham Music & Arts CIC, the festival is not-for-profit and supported by volunteers, local organisations, sponsors and community partners. Every year, the event helps create a welcoming space where residents, families, visitors, performers and local groups can come together and enjoy something special.

Whether you are here for the bands, the family activities, the food, the workshops or simply the atmosphere, SaxFest is a weekend for everyone.

Live Music

Enjoy a packed programme of live music, from local performers and bands to high-energy tribute acts and crowd favourites.

There will be plenty for younger visitors to enjoy, with family activities, entertainment and festival fun throughout the weekend.

We provide free childrens workshops which are filled with fun activities your kids will enjoy

The festival includes local organisations, charities and community groups, helping people access useful support and information.
